Hello, my name is Alanna Vicente.
I was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and raised in Southern California.
I'm a Filipino/American singer, songwriter, trombonist, actress and model.
The first question most people ask...why the trombone?
Basically...my high school music teacher convinced me I was perfect for the instrument
because I had “long arms” -- and he also had too many flute players.
I wasn't sure about it,  but I quickly fell in love with the contrast and power of the brass section.

One day after marching band practice, I was scouted by a modeling agency.  At 16 years old, I signed with
Elite Model Management. While working in Los Angeles and New York, I was drawn to music in a deeper way.
I started writing songs and singing out with various jazz musicians.
It also became clear that the trombone was a fun accessory on stage,
so I brought it back more and more.

Fun fact:  Years ago, I co-wrote a fun song with Andrew Wyatt called "Pop! Goes My Heart."
It's featured in the film, Music & Lyrics and sung by Hugh Grant.

Currently I perform regularly with
Alanna & These Fine Gentlemen, Jonny & Alanna and The Lady Bankers.
