AHH, COACHELLA!
It was over a month ago, but it’s still in my thoughts. So many bands, so little time! Running & skipping from stage to tent and then stage again. Those VIP passes sure came in handy! Big highlights for me: JAY-Z, Thom Yorke, Dead Weather, Little Dragon, Muse, The Specials, De La Soul, Charlotte Gainsbourg, and of course, MIIKE SNOW! A few years back, Andrew Wyatt (singer/writer of the trio Miike Snow) and I started an electronic band in NYC. We called ourselves OKtoberlight. It’s still some of my favorite music that I’ve ever written. I learned a lot from him and so I was of course excited to be dancing and singing the lyrics with all the fans. What a great memory! www.myspace.com/oktoberlight
